First day in Krabi well spent and the second day was even better. Our plan was to spend 2 days in Krabi. Obviously 2 days are not enough to explore the whole Krabi but for us this trip is not just about laying on the beach and getting tan all day. I mean c'mon there are so many things to do and many interesting places to visit there. Rent a bike or a car to go around would be a great idea. We decided to rent a big bike because the road seemed to be pretty good, not a lot of cars but gonna have to be really careful when using the roads there since people still drive like crazy and from what we've heard from the locals there are accidents everyday and mostly are motorbikes.
First destination was the Shells cemetery where the a large amount of fossilized mollusks located, approximately 75 million years old. It was pretty interesting, you're allowed to get really close to them and touch the fossils. Well, they're very fragile so we took the broken part of the fossils home as a souvenir, just a small part of it. Oooooops. The location wasn't so crowded so it didn't really took us long to kinda observed the place.

The next location we went to was the Emerald pool. That was our biggest destination aim of the day. It was pretty far from the Shell cemetery took about almost an hour ride to there, talking about almost 200km/h speed non stop ride. Well, that was the purpose of renting a big bike! The Emerald pool is part of the national park, they've been preserving the place very well you can really feel the true sense of nature there. You might have to do a little hiking to the pool through the forest and that's the fun of it (for us :p). It was so fresh in there, there are many ponds and water falls, the water is sooooo clear that you can literally see creatures and emerald rocks under the water very clearly. Beautiful. Along the way you'd hear birds and insects making noises around you, we started to imitate their sounds and we were surprised how they responded us by imitating our sound. Now we know the true meaning of "Communicating with the nature" hehe. Took us about 20 minutes of hiking to finally get to the pool. After that long walk of course we didn't wait any longer to jumped right into it. It felt soooo refreshing like you can literally feel all the natural mineral dissolve into your skin. It's a nice place for family and would also be so much fun to go with a big group of friends.
Day to start with a good breakfast :)
Morning dip in the pool to wake up before the go
75million years old site..huuh!
Welcome to the Jungle!!
Freshhh
Water that flows down from the mountain. Couldnt get any more cleaner
Found a temple up on the way to the Emerald pool
Temple decorationsFirst stop at the Blue / crystal pool. I wanted to just dive in but dissapointedly it was forbidden due to dangerous matters. Sharp woods sticks, deep water and quicksand.
A moment of fame. From time to times strangers comes up and asks for to take photos with them. Blue eyes, blond hair, white skin, wide smile, I guess its all about that!
The Emerald pool was definitely the highlight of the day. Took another hour ride back to our hotel, it was pretty tiring but definitely worth it. Riding back with this amazing sunset!!
Last night with Family
Being with your love ones even for once in a while this time we definitely treasured every moments . Two days of complete joy
