It is finally that time of the year! Christmas is
on it's way! Exam is over! And VACATION is calling us!!
Right after White Yolk's done with his last exam we rushed to the bus
terminal and the journey began from there. A 12 hours bus ride straight from Bangkok
down south to Krabi was pretty tiring, just imagine yourself on a long flight.
Yep. Oh well, it gave us a good sense of traveling and also excitement.
Krabi is actually a big and quiet province, it took us around 30-40 mins
to get to Ao Nang (where we stayed), known as a tourist center. Was so nice to
meet White Yolk’s family there for the first time and first time after a long
time for White Yolk. We’ve all decided to spend our holiday there and Krabi
was really a good choice. Great place
for family vacation.
We’ve arrived at our hotel around 8am and first thing first, it’s nap
time. Not to waste a wonderful day 2 hours nap was enough, the next thing we
did was exploring the islands. There are so many islands nearby it would
probably take 2 days to visit all of them. We chose to go to Pranang island.
There you can take long tail boat to different islands around and it cost
around 100 Thai Baht for adult and 60 Thai Baht for children. Pretty friendly
price. White Yolk’s little brother and sister got so excited a long the way
there such a wonderful vibe we had. The island wasn’t so crowded that day which
is perfect. The sun was shining bright and yes, it’s tanning time!!!!!
Pranang island is known as the center island for fisher men and people
who work around. They worship the Goddess of the island (Pranang) and believe that she will bring them luck.
Such a nice and wonderful day we had, spent time with family and
wild monkeys lol
First things first. MK has been graving for finnish candy for so long, specially those nacho cheese balls. FINALLY!

Before getting back to the hotel at night we were having some pancakes before the sleep and spending some quality family time together. What an great day!!
And that was the beginning of our winter holiday. ;)
