THIS is our so called “Fairy tale” university aka Assumption
University of Thailand (ABAC). The FIRST international university in Thailand
that offers almost all courses in English. This is a Catholic university, as
you can see their architecture buildings and style. Sounds pretty fancy. To be
honest, this is one of the reasons why we chose to study here hehe Our
university located in Samutprakan province which I would say around 40 mins
away from Bangkok. We still count that it’s located in Bangkok anyway cuz I
mean it’s not that far….??... Anyway, it’s a pretty cool place to study. The
atmosphere is great, the facilities are great and of course people are quite
cool here. When you first enter the university’s area, you might feel like
you’re in the middle of nowhere… why? Cuz it’s literally in the middle of
nowhere. O.o Whatever you need is in one
area or else you probably need to have a car or a bike, but of course there are
other options like vans or taxis for you if you need to go to the city.
There’s a little
shopping mall in the university called AU Mall. You will find dozen of restaurants that offers Thai and international
food, book store, IT shop, Hair salon and Mini market there. White yolk likes
to get his gains from one of the steak house there. He has his “White yolk’s
special” menu.
One of the BEST facilities that they offer is of course the
one and only ‘John Paul Sports Center’ where all the crazy fitness fanatic
students get pumped up. Including us :p .
Best way to get around (and sometimes lost in) Thailand is definetly to ride a bike
