A week ago I got invited to Choco's house to participate in a traditional Thai house blessing ceremony. Dozen of Buddha's representatives came to her house prayed, gave merits, bring happiness, fortune and all good things to the whole family and friends who participated in the event. 
In Thailand, they believe that what they give to the monks, those things will pass to their relative or ancestors spirits and it's another way to gain merits. So, these buckets are filled with essential things that the monks can use such as medicine, soap, snacks etc.
These are some deserts, snacks and drinks that Choco's family had prepared for the monks.
After the monks left, we started to prepare for evening BBQ Party. After a while, the house was full and packed with Choco's friends and her brother's close friends.

It's always interesting to see how they celebrate their lives here in Asia, differs from the west where I come from.
